The Afghan and Iraqi Special Immigrant Visa programs are the legal pathway that brings America's wartime allies home. No One Left Behind's advocacy team works with strategic partners in Congress, the Executive Branch, and beyond to champion the wartime allies still in danger, protect allies who have already arrived, and secure additional visas to meet the need for eligible wartime allies still in processing.
Since 2013, our advocacy has contributed to numerous National Defense Authorization and Appropriations bills, resulting in tens of thousands of visas for Afghan and Iraqi allies, including the 12,000-visa increase secured in 2024, the largest single addition in the program's history.
