Sustainment Abroad

Keeping allies safe and stable while they wait.

Wartime allies awaiting relocation

Supporting our allies

No One Left Behind provides direct, ongoing support to allies while they wait, including financial assistance, case management, and documentation support.

Our team is on the ground in Pakistan and sustains allies for as long as the wait lasts, and we are driven to sustain our allies through a crisis that has not resolved.

To start sustainment support, email info@nooneleft.org with “Sustainment Support Application” in the subject line.

How We Help

Financial Assistance

NOLB provides monthly stipends to cover rent, food, utilities, and emergency medical care for allies awaiting SIV processing in Pakistan and other third countries. In 2026, NOLB has disbursed over $200,000 to 350+ families. This support is direct financial aid that lets families make their own decisions about where and how to live safely.

Case Management

Every ally working with NOLB is assigned a case manager who tracks SIV application status, handles documentation requirements, and flags urgent needs for those at imminent risk.

Documentation & Legal Status Support

NOLB assists allies with visa extensions, exit permits, and other documentation needed to remain safely in place or relocate to a third country when that becomes the safest option. As of May 2026, NOLB has helped secure new or renewed travel documents for 31 individuals across 8 families.

Where We Work

NOLB maintains active, on-the-ground support in Pakistan, where the majority of allies awaiting SIV processing are currently located. Our team works directly with allies abroad, providing support without requiring travel to a centralized office or guesthouse.

Register your case

Use the case intake form to tell our team about your SIV case and what you need. We review each case and respond directly. All NOLB services are free.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

My visa was approved. Why can't I come to America?

Afghan SIV visa issuance was suspended effective January 1, 2026, halting the final step for many allies who have already cleared Chief of Mission approval. They cannot travel to the United States until the U.S. government resumes processing SIVs. NOLB provides sustainment support during this indefinite waiting period.

Is this the same as the guesthouse program NOLB previously ran?

No. NOLB has transitioned away from centralized guesthouses to direct financial payments, allowing allies more flexibility, privacy, and control over their own housing while reducing their visibility and risk.

How do I apply for support?

To apply for financial support, email info@nooneleft.org with “Sustainment Support Application” in the subject line. To register a case with NOLB, use the case intake form under How We Help. Our team reviews each request and responds directly.

Does it cost anything to apply for NOLB's sustainment program?

No. All NOLB services are free. NOLB will never request payment for assistance. If anyone claiming to represent NOLB asks for payment, report it immediately to info@nooneleft.org.
