Good to see you brother. And I'm so glad to hear you and see you. I really appreciate your help and right now I'm in Portland, I'm in a secure place and everything is going well, and I really appreciate your help.
I want to talk about my past in Afghanistan.
In Afghanistan, the guys that worked with American soldiers or with other foreign groups, they - the Taliban do not have a good behavior with them. If they really understand that this person work with the American, without killing, they will not let them go.
One time, I was in a far village, in my village, and they found me. They captured me and they put me in the jail for about six days, seven days. And, it was torturing me, you know, during these six days. They didn't give me water and they didn't give me food.
And after that, when I was in jail, the old men [elders] in other villages gathered together and come to the Taliban and they told them that Aman does not work with the foreign countries; Aman, does not work with the American militaries.
For that reason, they let me leave and I went back to that village and I skipped that village and went to Kabul, and find the shelter and just remain until evacuation. And when I evacuated from Kabul, the CARE team for me, booked the flight. I really was, I was really happy.
When I arrived in Albania, and I faced with that problem again, that the flights was canceled and Mr. President Trump canceled all the flights and we just worried.
What should we do next? And what will happen? Will we have to return back to Afghanistan? And we really was worried.
At that time, No One Left Behind come over and just helped us and booked the flight. And yeah. You guys understand, I'm really happy here. I'm really happy.
Yeah, to Mr. Sullivan that he helped me and have gotten my help to arrive here in Portland. Right now I have a job here and I'm so glad to have a secure life.
I will never forget this helpful stuff that you do for me and I really appreciate you, and I love you.
No One Left Behind is launching an urgent campaign to fund 100 evacuation flights for Afghan allies still in danger.
Each plane ticket is more than a flight; it is a life changed forever.
Will you help us change 100 more lives?
