Tell Your Representative: Support the Afghan SIV Program in the NDAA!

This week, Congress returns to consider issues including the path forward for the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). Despite the NDAA’s role improving the Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) programs on eight previous occasions, this year’s NDAA so far excludes our Afghan allies.


Reps. Jason Crow (D-CO) and Zach Nunn (R-IA) have filed a necessary, bipartisan amendment to extend the Afghan SIV program through 2027. Extending this lifesaving program is crucial for securing eligible allies still in danger abroad.


Congress needs to hear from you – their constituent – that they need to stand with our Afghan allies and support Crow-Nunn Amendment #141 to continue the Afghan SIV program!
